Danish musician Mikkel Holm-Silkjær (well-known for playing and recording with Yung, Brooch, Tears, Urban Achievers, and Happy Hookers for Jesus) has announced the release of his debut EP Dappled under the moniker Holm and shared “Hope”. It will serve as the first song on the 4-track album, which is released by the 23-year-old musician, on May 4 via Tough Love Records.
It is a beautiful, literate and fine-crafted song, which shows that during his career with other bands Mikkel was formulating his own sound and stumbled upon a fresh and exciting take on it — all four tracks on the album were written, recorded, performed, and mixed by Holm-Silkjær himself. You can pre-order the limited edition of 12″ on pink vinyl here.
