CGI dog is the new project of Los Angeles-based artist Chris Cubbi (you might know him as a 1/2 of production duo Best Picture, whose songs were praised on this blog during the last months).
Today he premieres his first tune under the new moniker, a hypnotizing “Kitchen”, which serves as a first taste of Chris’s upcoming debut album.
It’s a two part song that starts off as a booming, playful call for attention before evolving into a breakbeat driven and vaporwave-inspired guitar stomper. As a bonus, it also features Trevor Crown, who is playing guitar this time.
