[album] Witch’s Wall – Witch’s Wall

The laconic beginning of many songs on new Witch’s Wall‘s self-titled record (released via Cornelius Chapel Records) smoothly flows into hypnotic guitar grooves and synthesizer cycles.

Alabama-based band produce great and atmospheric dream pop with some suprirses on the way, like sinister guitars in “Heaven’s Break” or an alarming intro of “Lady Love”.

Each of the 8 tracks involuntarily progresses into nostalgic memories, and the intense contrast of sounds beautifully overlaps with soothing, quiet vocals.
