London art rock trio MOHIT emerged in the early 2010s, and during the last years the band was figuring out their unique sound, playing a lot of shows and occasionally sharing some singles. Now the waiting is over, and Preface, band’s debut record is finally out.
It is an experimental, inventive and fascinating album, as MOHIT certainly have the ability to create exciting and unusual sounds.
All nine pieces of Preface are different from each other and yet they fit together perfectly, having successive tempos, rhythms and textures that keep things moving while varying the moods. A perfect record to get immersed in and keep finding something new in it through repeated listening.
