Today LA-based producer/artist Chris Cubbison aka CGI dog returned with the new single “Livin’ in Delay”, b/w an instrumental piece “Hypo”.
It’s an always welcome return from the musician, who is planning on putting out these songs in a brand new EP, set for release this fall. “Livin’ in Delay” is a catchy noise pop number with the massive drum sound and melancholy vocals, and “Hypo” is an unstoppable and experimental tune on the dance/drum and bass side of things, which also features additional production by Cubbi’s friend and frequent collaborator John War (who released his fantastic debut album back in July). Both tracks go perfectly well together and make us very excited for his next release.
Stream the single below and purchase it on Bandcamp. All profits from it would be donated to The Okra Project, a “collective that seeks to address the global crisis faced by Black Trans people by bringing home cooked, healthy, and culturally specific meals and resources to Black Trans People wherever [Okra Project] can reach them”.
