Contact, the third album of London quartet Landshapes, is full of suprises. It is a shape-shifting record that makes it impossible for listeners to predict the next move of the band, or at least a melody or trajectory of the next track.
Throughout ten songs, the group experiments with song structures, while mixing different genres and establishing connections between instumental elements & vocals. Most importantly, the end result sounds very cohesive, natural and vital. An essential listen.
