Dry Cleaning have released a new song “No Decent Shoes For Rain” as the latest preview of their upcoming album Stumpwork, set for release on October 21 via 4AD.

It follows the previously released tracks “Don’t Press Me”, “Anna Calls From The Arctic”, “Gary Ashby”, and is accompanied by a cool music video that features various footage of the band edited by Jono Canning.
The song itself is inspired by grief, as explained by the group’s Florence Shaw:
“’No Decent Shoes for Rain’ is inspired by grief. Grief over past relationships, grief for loved ones who have died, and all the things that come with that; loneliness, numbness, yearning, ruminating about the past”.
