Dance noise rock and guitar techno may seem like an impossible combination, but the Irish band YARD, a new name on the scene, is able to do everything.
Armed with the support of Belfast producer Lauren Hannan aka YINYANG, the group shared their latest single “ECDYSIS” — a reminder of how important it is to get bumps from your own mistakes (no matter what anyone says, you won’t earn wisdom otherwise).
This jaunty, hectic track with a perfectly smooth beat creates a claustrophobic nightclub vibe. You can only see what’s going on in millisecond flashes of light, so the best thing you can do is close your eyes and let the sound fill your body.
