Bee Bee Sea haven’t released any music since 2020’s great Day Ripper, but just yesterday a new song titled “Time and Time” landed on streaming platforms. The track, written in the midst of the pandemic years, is loosely inspired by Richard Hell and the Voidoids’ song “Time”, from which the verse “only time can write a song that’s really real” is taken.
It is an electrifying and powerful rock song that immediately captures the listener’s attention and sees an Italian band shifting towards the fuzzy garage punk territory, with all the right elements such as a driving drumbeat, distorted guitar riffs and gritty vocals. It would also be out on a limited edition pink 7″ vinyl via Wild Honey Records, b/w another song “Memories of Another Life”.
The trio have already confirmed many live dates over the Spring and Summer, that will touch Spain, Italy and the UK, with more to be announced soon (more information can also be found on their Facebook).
