The atmosphere of Shangri-Lass songs, a solo project of Sheffield-based musician and Sister Wives’ bassist, Rose Love, can easily compete with the best numbers of the 60s era.
Her new single “Father’s Daughter”, a true retro-futuristic anthem, feels like the soundtrack to a Sci-Fi western. The lyrics of Shangri-Lass can also form the basis of an action-packed story where the main characters travel to the farthest corners of their minds.
It is the second track (after “Parallel”) from her forthcoming debut Over & Over EP set for release on April 28 via the new Sheffield label, Redundant Span.
