[song] FEWS – Strafe

A wave of post-punk revival at the beginning of the 00s left us with a rich legacy that became a basis for the birth of many other projects. As proven by the band during many live performances, FEWS can easily be categorized as modern reanimators of this sound.

Singles from their upcoming album Glass City only confirm this, and the new track “Strafe” is no exception. Armed with tight basslines, vibrant guitars and slightly detached vocals, the group explore new shades of post-punk that seem to be rediscovered over and over again.

[video] FEWS – Get Out

Unstoppable, propulsive and filled with uplifting energy & hypnotically dark atmosphere — that’s how “Get Out”, a new single by FEWS sounds. The instruments in the band’s music work on an intuitive level — each of them appears exactly at the moment when it is really needed.

This is also the first track where FEWS finally look not at external problems, but deep inside themselves — at their fears, feelings of loneliness and anxiety. It feels that with such music it will be a little easier to deal with inner demons.

The band is back with the new album titled Glass City, set for release on April 14 via Welfare Sounds & Records. “Get Out” is released alongside the self-directed lo-fi music video.
