One of the most exciting new bands around, Bristol techno four-piece SCALPING, have announced their debut record. Titled Void, it is out April 29 through Houndstooth.
The album will consist of 9 songs and for the first time some of them will have vocals + feature some interesting collaborations (“Tether” w/ Oakland rapper DÆMON and “Remain in Statis” w/ Bristol-based rapper Grove).
The announcement is accompanied by the fresh single “Flashforward”, a brilliantly put-together progressive piece that is impossible to categorize. The video for the track was created by visual designer Jason Baker.
