Now performing under the moniker Gilla Band (ex-Girl Band), the unique and unsettling Irish noisy four-piece released a new song “Post Ryan”. It will close their upcoming new LP Most Normal, which is set for release on October 7 through Rough Trade.
The hard-hitting and direct post-everything cut is the third single we have heard from the group (after “Backwash” and “Eight Fivers”) and is released alongside the fitting bonkers (in a good way) visuals, directed by Michael Speed.
Hypnotic and inventive, there’s no band that sounds quite like caroline at the moment. “Skydiving onto the library roof” is their second single (after phenomenal “Dark blue”), and it will be released (with another song “Everything for everyone” as a b-side) on June 25 via Rough Trade Records.
Check out the accompanying video below and pre-order the single on 12″ vinyl here.
