GRMLN, the solo musical project of Yoodoo Park, returns with the new album Dark Moon, released on Spirit Goth Records (and available on a limited edition baby pink tape).
The artist continues with what he does best — creating melancholic and nostalgia-tinged indie rock/bedroom pop. It is not groundbreaking or wildly new in the genre, but not many artists operating in this field are so prolific and both consistently good at the same time.
Josh Hwang, who records under the moniker Castlebeat, has released new album entitled VHS last week. It is a dreamy record, full of light shoegazy pop and lo-fi charm with a heavy dose of nostalgic melancholy.
VHS clocks in at just 32 minutes, which means that this will be a pretty easy listen for most, but you will definitely want to put it on repeat. Purchase the album here.
