If you like your indie rock noisy, with riff-heavy melodies and big choruses — then get on the latest one from Glasgow four-piece Spyres immediately.

The song “Sleep Forever”, which was released on Friday, is a catchy and energetic track that showcases the band’s huge potential and abilities. At its core, it is a song about dismissing confrontation and saying that it’s OK to put reality on pause sometimes.

Vocalist/guitarist Keira McGuire explains: “Sleep Forever is a song about blocking out the realities of life and living in your own world, not wanting to grow up, becoming an adult which puts an end to teenage daydreams and fantasies”.
