For several years we haven’t heard anything from Thomas Cohen (S.C.U.M) after the release of his solo album, but now he is finally returning with new music, this time under the moniker Sylph.

Silver As It Was Before (out now via Mute) is his debut EP, which consists of 3 dance tracks, collaborations with Nicolas Bougaïeff, Rrose and Terence Fixmer.

These are infectious and techno-tinged art pop pieces — fresh and brilliant new stuff from Cohen, who starts this exciting new chapter in his career.

Thomas Cohen (S.C.U.M) will release his debut EP Silver As It Was Before under the moniker Sylph on May 21 via Mute (pre-order it here).

We have already heard an awesome “Braid”, and now Thomas shares a second single, produced by Nicolas Bougaïeff — big industrial pop number “In The Morning Light”.
