Today, France’s Unschooling share the third and final single “Excommunicated” from their debut album New World Artifacts, which is out October 6 via Bad Vibrations (the band already teased us with “Brand New Storm” and “Ribbon Road” a bit earlier). It is a very interesting and different song from the group and is probably their best one yet.
Nearly 7 minutes long, it’s a raw and free-form experimental piece that goes far beyond the usual post-punk more into the territory of dark ambient/drone, providing the listener with some A+ class haunting material. Eerie ghosts footage as a music video is very appropriate here!
