Today London art pop trio Mylar announced a new EP titled Lost In Shuffle, which will be out on April 16. This communiqué sees the band returning in top form despite personal upheavals and line-up changes, judging by the new number “Scribbled Sunset”.

The song is a true gem with its synth-funk grooves, and it is sure to leave a lasting impression on all who hear it, transcending genres and touching hearts along the way. Speaking about it, vocalist Tom Short shared the following:

“This song came together from us trying to use a sound which is essentially the slap bass sound from the Seinfeld intro music. It’s quite upfront and direct and it looks at that moment in a relationship where you’re questioning whether someone is that interested anymore. And that image of a ‘scribbled sunset’ is talking about the need many of us have to paint over things even when they’re clearly not working”.
