[video] Peter Bibby – Terracotta Brick

Having teased us already with some great new singles, Perth misfit Peter Bibby has shared another new cut/video “Terracotta Brick”.

It has a more subdued tone and serves as a heartfelt musical journey and tribute to a sincere labourer, reinforcing Bibby’s standing as a voice for the Australian working class.

Bibby explains: “I came up with this little ditty while I was working as a brickie’s labourer. I took a direct quote or two from the boss, he was full of great lines. He was also full of piss on a regular basis, and it got me thinking about the connection between the building industry and flat out, celebrated alcoholism”.

All released songs would be a part of his forthcoming LP Drama King (set for release on May 31 through Spinning Top Records), which was produced by first-time collaborator Dan Luscombe (The Drones, Amyl and the Sniffers).
