London-via-Oxford quartet Lost Lyra share debut single “Pastel Colours”, a smooth ambient dream pop cut which is out today via Big Richard Records.

The track is characterized by its catchy bassline, groovy guitar work, and soft, melodic vocals, with some atmospheric spoken word passages. Vocalist/drummer Frances Steel shares the following about the lyrical content:

“The poem in ‘Pastel Colours’ was written during lockdown, about the feeling of dissociation and numbness born from being trapped inside. The soft ambience of the track conveys that sense of trance-like detachment”.
