The masters of art rock musical wizardry Green Gardens are back with a new single, mesmerizing composition “Things I Didn’t Do”. On it Leeds band translates heavy emotions, connected with experiencing the death of a loved one, into a loud roar of experimental, dynamic indie rock of the highest quality.

The song marks a third release from the new partnership between award-winning non-profit music development organisation Come Play With Me and EMI North. It’s out with the music video, filmed by Charlie Featherstone of CAP Media, where the group performs a song before things get literally bloody and horror-ish.

Check it out below.

Creative and very talented, Leeds’ Treeboy & Arc have been building suspense during all these last years and finally, they are ready to release their artistic statement in form of a debut record. Announced last month, Natural Habitat is expected to land on July 7 via EMI North-partnered Clue Records.

Five-piece already teased us with “Retirement”, and now we are getting another song, “False Objects”. It is different, slower in tempo, instrumentally acute and with an atmosphere of controlled chaos — like the group is performing unemotionally with a big fire around them. Vocals shine through here, with guitarist and vocalist Ben Morgan actually singing instead of his usual cold spoken word delivery.

The single is accompanied by an animated music video (created by George Chadwick) and was produced by Matt Peel (TRAAMS, W.H. LUNG, Eagulls, Pulled Apart By Horses, Heck) at his studio The Nave in Leeds.

Set for release on July 7 via EMI North partnered Clue Records, Leeds’ Treeboy & Arc have announced their debut album titled Natural Habitat. The first single out of it is “Retirement” — a fast-paced, dynamic song that showcases the band’s distinctive blend of post-punk and art-rock influences.

The track is out with a fun music video directed by Nicholas Sayers. In it the group is performing in the absolute smallest pub they could find in Leeds, with some retired folk around, completely unaware of the racket surrounding them. Instead, people just focus on enjoying their usual day-to-day hobbies.
