Last month Juan Wauters released his excellent album Wandering Rebel via Captured Tracks, and now he is sharing a new video for the album’s standout track, “Mensaje Codificado”.

Juan has been on fire with the music videos recently, with awesome visuals for “Milanesa al Pan”, “Modus Operandi”, “Nube Negra”, “Millionaire”, and the new one is a great addition to this solid list. Filmed by Fatos Marishta at a local bar in Uruguay, it follows Wauters around a bar, drinking pints with locals, playing pool, making the seemingly mundane beautiful and engaging to watch.

With his anticipated new album Wandering Rebel due out June 2 via Captured Tracks (from which he last month shared single “Milanesa al Pan”), today Juan Wauters unveils a new track from the LP, “Modus Operandi”. On it, he is joined by Frankie Cosmos.

In the fun video for the song, directed by Fatos Marishta, Juan and Frankie are trying to find each other, being in completely different places: Frankie was walking through Union Square, NYC, and Juan was wandering through the streets of Montevideo.

Juan Wauters has shared a video for his new hit single “Milanesa al Pan” (featuring Zoe Gotusso), which serves as the taster of his upcoming new record Wandering Rebel. It is out on June 2 via Captured Tracks.

An excellent animated music video for the song was created by Dante Zaballa.
