Despite being released in the early months of 2024, it can be confidently stated that Bats Feet For A Widow by Bingo Fury already stands out as one of the most original and comprehensive records of the year so far.

It presents an intriguing collection of experimental, highly creative music combining Scott Walker-inspired songs, refined jazz, and dynamic no wave elements. The tracks on the LP may not be easily accessible, but with each playthrough, their unpredictable nature and overall eccentricity increasingly captivate the listener.

It is difficult to categorize and/or describe the music created by Bingo Fury. All the songs released by the group (we have 4 so far) are amazing and impressive works of art, which simply cannot be pigeonholed into a single genre or style.

The unpredictable melodies of their songs do not let you relax for a second while listening, and the new one, “Underfall Yard”, is a great example of this. It is an excellent gift for lovers of bold sound experiments with high-performance skills, in which Bingo Fury organically and easily combines beauty and mystery.

The track is released alongside the music video, directed by Peter Eason Daniels. It is taken from the debut EP titled Mercy’s Cut, which is out October 7 via Practise Music.
