[album] Crocodiles – Upside Down In Heaven

Crocodiles, a duo of Brandon Welchez and Charles Rowell, have been creating wonderfully fuzzy garage rock since forming in 2008, and today is the release date of their new LP Upside Down In Heaven.

Out now via Lolipop Records, it is a great example of the group’s ability to create music that is both accessible and experimental. The album is full of catchy hooks and memorable melodies, but also has enough depth and complexity to keep listeners engaged.

Obviously, it is a must-listen for all existing fans, but even if it is the first time you hear about Crocodiles — check it out now if you are a fan of all things noise, punk, rock and pop. You will get hooked immediately and be exploring their whole discography right after that.

Check it out below and purchase the album here.

[video] Crocodiles – Degeneration

15 years into their career, Crocodiles are going strong and on ton top of their form. The duo has just aired a music video for the newest single “Degeneration” and it’s brilliant.

The song, armed with the band’s signature fuzz (and a nod to The Who’s My Generation”), is taken from their upcoming album Upside Down In Heaven (their first one in 4 years), which is out April 7 on Lolipop Records.

The video for the track was directed by Kate Clover & Brandon Welchez.

Crocodiles have released a festive new track, “Christmas in Hell”, described by the group as a “Christmas song reflective of the total shittiness of 2020”.

It arrives alongside fun visuals, too, which sees the duo having a dress up and performing the track.

The music video was directed by Kate Clover. Watch it below and get the tune on Bandcamp. There you can also find three volumes of new cover albums (available digitally and on cassettes), all profits from which go to charity.

Crocodiles have aired the video for their latest single “Exit My Head”.

The song, armed with the band’s signature fuzz, is taken from their last album Love Is Here, which came out in February via Deaf Rock Records. It is one of our favourite albums this year and you can buy your copy here

The video was created by Julián Name. Watch it below and see the band live if you have a chance, as they are in the middle of the European tour now (find all the remaining dates on their Instagram).

[video] Crocodiles – Nuclear Love

Back in February Crocodiles have released their fantastic 7th LP Love Is Here, via Deaf Rock Records, and now they are following it up the video for the album’s opener and atomically cool song “Nuclear Love”, directed by Kate Clover.

Watch it below and get the album here. Do your best to catch them on tour as well, these guys are really great live.
