Exciting new artist Re Teu (pronounced Ree-Too) debuted with stellar “Glas” back in July, and now he is announcing his debut EP The Author for October 20 + shares the title track from it.

It is a delicate but at the same time quite powerful and deeply affecting song that showcases Re Teu’s incredible songwriting and vocal talents and also his ability to mix the genres.

On the new single, he says “This song encapsulates the feeling of release and surrender, embodying complete acceptance. We’ve become unfamiliar entities, characters within a tale, where you and I hold the quill as co-authors of our narrative”.

Nottingham/London muli-instrumentalist confidently operates in multiple genres by mixing delicate folk textures and euphoric rock. He draws the listener in with the song’s dreamy and introspective sound that explodes to a cathartic climax by the end. Alongside the single itself, he has also shared a beautiful video for it, directed by Grace Edu.
