DVC Refreshments is a new solo project of songwriter/producer David Carriere, who also plays in TOPS and Born At Midnite.
Last Friday he released a greatly titled EP Hits Only via Arbutus Records, which is packed with catchy and smooth songs that become favourites right after the first listen (“Wasted on the Real Thing” is an accurate example of that, it’s a playful tune that makes you want to sing along to it immediately). Pure pop brilliance.
