[song] Sunday Driver – Time Machine

SD

The Cambridge-based septet Sunday Driver return with the new single “Time Machine” (out now via Trapped Animal Records), on which the band excellently showcase the signature and exotic sound that they have mastered.

The first track from upcoming record Sun God explores the concepts of space and time, and their mix of rock and eastern instruments with lead singer Chandy Nath’s storytelling gets stuck in your head immediately. It is full of energy, rhythm and exciting turns along the way.

[video] Siv Disa – Fear

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

NYC-based artist Siv Disa has just released her latest single “Fear”, along with its accompanying music video.

The song fascinates instantly, having sort of a gorgeous but dark feature to it, and sometimes almost a kind of haunting feeling. This is underlined perfectly by introspective lyrics and the music video, which was directed and edited by Siv herself and was inspired by 70s exploitation movies and found-footage horror films such as The Blair Witch Project.

Watch it below and get the track on Apple Music or Spotify via Trapped Animal Records.

[song] noid – 1983-2020-

Noid

Japanese surrealist rock band noid have released the new single “1983-2020-”, which is out now via &Records and Trapped Animal Records.

The band perfectly mixes complex, shape-shifting instrumentation together with catchy melancholy and upbeat, happy storytelling. It’s an instant earworm, which evolves into something much bigger during its duration.

Check it out below together with the beautiful music video, directed by Takayuki Kojima.
